Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using Growbook. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Growbook is intended for use by parents and legal guardians managing homeschool records for children in their household, and by licensed evaluators and tutors working with those families.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@growbook.org if you suspect unauthorized access.
Growbook helps you generate, organize, and track state-required homeschool compliance documents based on publicly available state regulations. We strive to keep our state rules current, but:
Growbook is a document preparation tool, not a legal or educational compliance service. We are not lawyers and do not provide legal advice. You are solely responsible for verifying that the documents generated meet your state and district's current requirements before filing them. Requirements change — always confirm filing deadlines and requirements directly with your school district. Growbook does not file documents on your behalf or communicate with school districts on your behalf unless you explicitly initiate that action.
You agree not to provide false information about yourself, your family, or your children; use Growbook to generate documents for families you are not authorized to represent; attempt to access another user's account or data; use Growbook for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
Growbook offers paid subscription plans. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Settings page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
You own the data you enter into Growbook — your family information, your children's records, and the documents you upload. By using Growbook, you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for any purpose beyond operating and improving Growbook.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Growbook is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including any compliance penalties resulting from filed documents. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We will notify you by email before making material changes to these Terms. Continued use of Growbook after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
